Mt Talau National Park

Mt Talau National Park protects one of Vava'u's remaining patches of native forest. The short trail climbs above Neiafu through trees that shelter many of Tonga's native birds and reptiles.

The entrance is about 2 km from central Neiafu, and the trail itself is roughly 1 km. Go for the forest, the legends attached to the mountain, and the views back over the harbour and islands.
