Jalë is on the SH8 coastal highway that runs the length of the Albanian Riviera between Vlorë and Sarandë. Minibuses run along this route in summer, connecting Jalë with Himara (about 7 km north), Sarandë (about 70 km south), and Vlorë (about 100 km north). Timings are erratic and services reduce sharply outside July and August.
The nearest large transport hub is Himara, which has more frequent bus connections. Many travellers hire a car or rent a scooter in Sarandë or Vlorë to drive the coastal road at their own pace — the scenery justifies it.
