Old Khndzoresk is a cave village cut into the soft rock east of Goris. People lived in these caves into the 1950s, so the place feels less like an ancient ruin than a recently emptied settlement.
The caves, rock formations, and suspension bridge make it one of Syunik's more memorable short trips. Wear shoes with grip; the paths can be rough and dusty.
