Yeghegnadzor is on the M2 highway that runs south from Yerevan to the Iranian border, making it accessible by marshrutka or private taxi from Yerevan's Kilikia bus station. Journey time is about 2 hours (100 km). Marshrutkas run several times daily; departure times vary, so check locally or confirm with your guesthouse.
There is no rail service to Yeghegnadzor. Driving from Yerevan is the most flexible option — the road is good and well-signed. From the south, the town is on the route from Goris and the Tatev monastery area, making it a natural overnight stop if you're traveling the M2 corridor.
Taxis can be hired locally for day trips to Noravank, Areni, and the Selim Caravanserai. Agree the price in advance; most drivers in Yeghegnadzor are experienced with the standard tourist circuit.
