Graz Airport (GRZ) is about 10km south of the city and handles flights from a number of European hubs, with regular connections to Vienna, Frankfurt, Munich, and London. The Austrian Airlines regional network links Graz to Vienna multiple times a day. A taxi from the airport to the city centre takes around 20 minutes; the S-Bahn train from the airport to Hauptbahnhof runs every 30 minutes.
From Vienna, the train journey takes about two and a half hours on the regular service (roughly €30–50 one-way) or just under three hours on the slower regional trains. Buses from Vienna are cheaper and faster to book but take longer. From Salzburg, the direct train runs in about three and a half hours.
Graz Hauptbahnhof is about 1.5km west of the old city centre, easily walkable or a short tram ride away.
