Erlebnisbad Mayrhofen is the useful non-mountain fallback: indoor pools, slides, and a sauna complex close to the village centre. It matters most with children, in bad weather, or after a few hard ski days.
It is not a reason to choose Mayrhofen by itself, but every good resort town needs somewhere to go when legs or weather stop cooperating.
