Dachstein Suspension Bridge

The pedestrian suspension bridge spans a deep cleft on the southern face of the Dachstein, just below the cable car top station. It is around 100 metres long, swings noticeably underfoot, and crosses a 400-metre drop with nothing but air below.

Crossing it costs nothing extra once you have ridden the cable car to the top. People with vertigo will not enjoy it; everyone else will think it is one of the best ten minutes of their trip.
