Ramsau is about an hour's drive from Salzburg airport and just over two hours from Vienna or Munich. By car the easiest route is the A10 motorway south from Salzburg to the Eben exit, then over the small pass to Filzmoos and on to the Ramsau plateau.
By train, take the Salzburg-Graz line to Schladming station, from where a Postbus climbs the 600 metres up to Ramsau several times a day. The bus journey takes about half an hour and is included on the regional travel pass.
