Ramsau has its own ski jumping hill on the south edge of the village, used by Austrian national team trainees and visiting Nordic combined squads. There are two jumps — a 90-metre normal hill and a smaller training hill — both with matting that allows summer jumping.
Visitors can usually walk up to the in-run platform when training is not in progress and look down the slope. International events occasionally bring crowds and television cameras to what is otherwise a quiet corner of the village.
