Heimatmuseum

Schladming's Heimatmuseum is set in a 17th-century former social welfare house for miners. Its exhibits look at the town's mining past, with minerals, fossils, and local objects that connect the ski resort to its older mountain economy.

It is a modest museum, but a useful rainy-day stop if you want Schladming to be more than lifts, pistes, and summer trails.
