Burgruine Rehberg is a ruined medieval castle above the Rehberg district north of Krems. The castle was founded in the 12th century, changed hands repeatedly, and was abandoned in the early 19th century.
The remains are modest, but the setting gives the visit its value. It works best as a short uphill walk for castle atmosphere and views over the Krems valley, rather than as a major museum-style stop.
