Pinsk rewards a slow walk through the old centre more than a checklist approach. The main sights sit close to the Pina River: the Jesuit Collegium, the cathedral, Butrimovich Palace, and the remnants and memorials of the city's Jewish past. The riverfront itself is part of the appeal, especially in late afternoon when the low Polesian light makes the city feel older than it looks.
