De Stove is a small restaurant on Kleine Sint-Amandsstraat, a narrow street off the Markt, that manages to combine genuinely good food with reasonable prices — a difficult combination in central Bruges. The menu changes with the seasons and draws heavily on local Flemish produce: North Sea fish, local game, asparagus in spring. The room seats about 25 people, which keeps the atmosphere personal.
It is consistently rated among the better value restaurants in the city centre. The set lunch menu in particular is good value. Booking is essential for dinner and advisable for weekend lunch.
