Jerusalem Church

Jerusalem Church is one of Bruges' strangest churches, built in the 15th century by the Adornes family after a pilgrimage to the Holy Land. Its octagonal tower, dark interior, black Tournai marble tomb, and small side spaces feel far removed from the city's polished main sights.

It sits in the quieter Sint-Anna quarter, so it works well as part of a walk beyond the Markt and Burg. The mood is intimate, slightly eerie, and very different from the larger parish churches.
