Spa is about 35 kilometres southeast of Liège, which has the nearest major train station and airport. From Liège-Guillemins, there are regular buses to Spa (the journey takes around 45 minutes). By car, Spa is easy to reach via the E42 motorway.
From Brussels, the drive takes about 1.5 hours. There is no direct train to Spa itself — the town lost its rail connection decades ago — so bus or car is the practical option from Liège. Trains from Brussels to Liège run frequently and take around an hour.
