Turalibeg Mosque

16th-century Ottoman mosque with original stone minaret

The Turalibeg Mosque dates from the 16th century and is one of the principal Ottoman-era monuments in Tuzla's old town. Unlike the more famous Colourful Mosque nearby, the Turalibeg Mosque is relatively plain in its decoration but preserves a well-proportioned Ottoman interior and a tall stone minaret that has survived intact since the original construction.

The mosque sits within the historic core of the city, surrounded by the streets and buildings that make up what remains of Ottoman Tuzla. The interior is open to visitors outside prayer times.
