Komiža is on the western side of Vis island, about 10 km from Vis town where the ferry docks. Catamaran and car ferries run from Split to Vis town multiple times daily in summer, less frequently in winter (the crossing takes 2-3 hours by ferry or about 1 hour by catamaran). From Vis town, public buses run to Komiža several times a day, or you can take a taxi. Car rental is available at the ferry port if you want flexibility.
