Komiža is a town for slow time. The waterfront, the fishing museum in the Kastel tower, and the small beaches nearby make up most of the programme. The main reason to linger is the atmosphere: the evenings on the quay, the fishing boats coming in, the sense that you've found somewhere people actually live.
