A relaxed café near the Mill Colonnade, Coffee Mill does good coffee — an important qualification in a town where the coffee at many tourist-oriented places is unremarkable — and has a small terrace overlooking the Teplá river. The morning light on the water and the architecture above it makes this a particularly good spot for an early coffee before the day's promenade walking begins.
The interior is cosy and not particularly large. Friendly service, reasonable prices, and a welcome lack of the self-importance that can accompany café life in spa towns.
