Jordán Lake lies just east of the old town and gives Tábor a useful change of pace after the Hussite history. The reservoir dates to the 15th century, making it one of the oldest of its kind in Central Europe.
It is best as a walk, swim, or quiet pause rather than a headline sight. From the centre, it is close enough to fold into a short loop before returning to the square.
