Tabor Zoo is a small zoo on the edge of town, but it is the largest in South Bohemia. The collection has around 80 species, with animals from the Americas as well as larger crowd-pleasers such as tigers and zebras.
It is not the reason to come to Tabor, but it is a useful half-day stop for families or anyone staying longer than a quick Hussite-history visit.
