Bagenkop's harbour is the southernmost on Langeland, used by a handful of fishing boats and visiting yachts making the crossing to Germany. The ferry to Kiel once ran from here; today the harbour has an end-of-the-road quietness. The surrounding flat, windswept headland feels genuinely remote — the Baltic is exposed here in a way it is not further north — making it a good starting point for walks along the coast toward Ristinge Klint to the northwest.
