Bagenkop

Remote fishing village at Langeland's southern tip, centred on a small harbour beside the Baltic.

Bagenkop sits at the southern tip of Langeland, a small fishing harbour with a simple campsite, a marina, and little else. It is the island's quietest corner and the starting point for walks along the chalk cliffs at nearby Ristinge Klint. The ferry to Kiel in Germany once ran from here; today it is entirely a place for those seeking genuine remoteness on the Baltic coast.
