Ebeltoft Strand

Ebeltoft Strand is the town's easiest coastal pause: a sandy, shallow stretch of beach close to the old centre. It is not a wild North Sea beach, but it is very Danish in the best way, with calm water, families, and a low horizon across Ebeltoft Vig.

Use it as the soft end to a sightseeing day. In summer, bring a swimsuit; outside swimming season it still makes a fine walk after the museums close.
