Søborg Slotsruin

Søborg Slotsruin is the remains of a royal castle with roots in the Viking age and the medieval Danish kingdom. The ruins are low and weathered rather than dramatic, but the site has real historical weight: many of its stones were later reused at Kronborg, leaving a quiet field of foundations and fragments for travellers who like their castles unsmoothed.
