Frederiksberg Allé is the main street of inner Frederiksberg — a long, tree-lined boulevard running from the Vesterbro boundary all the way up to the palace gardens. The stretch between Frederiksberg Runddel and the gardens is lined with independent restaurants, wine bars, bakeries, and cafes, and is the most pleasant place to eat or drink in Frederiksberg.
The street has gradually become one of the better dining destinations in central Copenhagen without the crowds or prices of Nørrebro or the inner city. It's particularly good on warm evenings when the pavement tables are out.
