Røsnæs Lighthouse marks the far western tip of the peninsula, where Zealand narrows into open views of the Great Belt. The lighthouse was built in the 1840s and later rebuilt, with the keeper's house beside it.
The tower is usually something to admire from outside, but the real point of coming is the setting: wind, sea, low cliffs, and walking paths across the end of Røsnæs. It combines well with a bike ride from Kalundborg if the weather is kind.
