Sankt Nikolai Kirke is Nakskov's main church, a large Gothic brick building first mentioned in 1398 with sections likely dating from the early 13th century. The interior retains a 1630 Baroque pulpit and a richly decorated 1656 altarpiece, characteristic of the ornate furnishings that distinguished Lolland's wealthier medieval churches. It stands in the old town centre on cobbled streets from the same era.
