Rudkøbing Harbour

Working marina with Baltic ferry connections and a public sea bath

Rudkøbing's harbour has a working, unpretentious feel that distinguishes it from the more visitor-oriented marinas further north on Funen. The quayside has a multi-use activity lane — parkour equipment, ball courts, table tennis — and a public sea bath. Ferries run from here to Marstal on Ærø. A few good harbour restaurants line the waterfront. In the 19th century the harbour was Denmark's fifth largest; it retains some of that historical character without the polish.
