☰Puijo Tower

The Puijo Tower is the landmark of Kuopio — an observation tower and revolving restaurant on top of Puijo Hill, 150 metres above the surrounding terrain. On a clear day the view across the lake district is extraordinary: hundreds of islands, inlets, and peninsulas stretching to the horizon. The hill itself is a nature area with walking and cycling trails and a ski jump used for competition.
