Naantali is compact and easy to navigate on foot. The old town, harbour, and Moominworld are all within walking distance of each other, and most visitors can cover the main sights in a day or two. In summer the town is lively and full; outside the season it is quiet to the point of sleepy, with many businesses closed.
The big draw is Moominworld, but the medieval church, the Kultaranta gardens, and the archipelago boat trips give the town real depth beyond the theme park. For families willing to add a day, Väski island and the spa fill out a longer stay.
