The Finby stone labyrinth, or jungfrudans, is one of those small Baltic-coast mysteries that works better on foot than in a photograph. The low stones form an old man-made pattern in the woods west of Kyrkbacken, reached by a short nature trail.
Nobody is fully sure why these coastal labyrinths were made. That uncertainty is part of the charm: a simple walk, a strange old pattern, and the sense that the archipelago has carried human traces for a very long time.
