A small but charming toy museum tucked into a former cinema near the Unterlinden. Three floors trace a century of playthings — dolls in period costume, mechanical tin toys, lead soldiers, model trains running in scale through a recreated Alsatian village, and a top-floor section on video games from the 1980s onward.
It is a quick visit — an hour, or two with children — and a useful family stop between the heavier museums. The displays are arranged by theme rather than chronology and almost everything is behind glass. Combined tickets with the Unterlinden are available at a small discount.
