Le Bunker is a Second World War bunker in central La Rochelle, built during the German occupation and now presented as a museum. The preserved rooms and exhibits focus on daily life and military control in the city between 1941 and 1945.
It is close enough to the old port and historic centre to fit easily into a walking route, and gives a different view of La Rochelle beyond its towers and maritime history.
