Restaurant des Remparts

One of the reliable options in the village for a proper lunch with local products. The menu leans into regional classics — Salers beef, Cantal cheese plates, soupe au fromage — and the terrace has views over the valley. Portions are generous and service is unhurried, which in a medieval village on a summer afternoon is exactly right.

Reservations are advisable in July and August. The restaurant closes in the off-season, typically November through March.
