The harbour and upper town are close but steeply separated. Walk if you can, and expect stairs. In summer, park once and avoid driving through the tight old-town streets.
Boat trips leave from the harbour for the cliffs, caves, and nearby islands. They are the easiest way to understand why Bonifacio looks so improbable from land.
