Parc Borely is Marseille's grand south-side park, laid out around lawns, water, tree-lined paths, and the 18th-century Chateau Borely. It is a useful counterweight to the dense, noisy centre: local families, joggers, and visitors all drift here when the weather is good.
The park pairs naturally with the Prado beaches and the seafront. Allow time for the different moods inside it: formal garden, rose beds, shaded paths, and open grass where Marseille feels unexpectedly relaxed.
