By train. La Baule-Escoublac is on the line from Nantes, with direct TGV services from Paris Montparnasse (around 3 hours). The Nantes-La Baule TER runs roughly every hour and takes about an hour.
By car. The N171 from Nantes is a fast dual carriageway — count an hour from Nantes, three to four hours from Paris via the A11.
By air. Nantes Atlantique Airport is 75km east, well-connected to most European capitals. From the airport, take the airport shuttle to Nantes station, then the train to La Baule.
By boat. There is no scheduled passenger service, but the marina at Port de La Baule and the neighbouring Pornichet harbour welcome visiting yachts.
