Getting There

By train: Orléans is 60 minutes from Paris-Austerlitz by direct Intercités train. The main city station (Gare d'Orléans) is a five-minute walk from the cathedral; most long-distance services run from Gare des Aubrais-Orléans, 3 km to the north, which is connected to the centre by tram. From Tours it is about 1 hour by regional train.

By car: Orléans sits on the A10 motorway (the Aquitaine motorway), 120 km south of Paris. Parking in the city centre is metered; several large car parks are available near the cathedral.

By tram: The city has two modern tram lines, and the tram is the most convenient way to get between the main railway station, the city centre, and the Parc Floral de la Source.
