Jardin Botanique du Montet, also known as the Jean-Marie Pelt Botanical Garden, is Nancy's larger botanical garden outside the historic centre. It has extensive outdoor collections, themed plantings, and greenhouses that make it more substantial than a small city park.
The garden takes a little more planning than the central squares and museums, but it rewards visitors who want a green break or a science-oriented stop. It is particularly good in growing season, when the outdoor collections give the visit more variety.
