Parc de la Pepiniere is Nancy's grand central park, spreading north of Place Stanislas with lawns, avenues, rose beds, and old trees. It began as a royal nursery, which explains both its name and the generous scale of its planting.
The park is a natural follow-up to the UNESCO squares: after the gilded gates and formal facades, this is where Nancy relaxes. Walk the main avenues, look for the bandstand and sculptures, or use it as a shaded route toward the old town.
