Bénouville sits on the D514 between Ouistreham (the Brittany Ferries port, 8 km north) and Caen (10 km south). By car it is a straightforward drive from either direction. Bus connections run from Caen along the canal road; the Twisto network serves the corridor. From Ouistreham the route also connects to Cabourg and Deauville to the east.
