The whole Côte Fleurie is within easy striking distance. Trouville, across the bridge over the Touques, is essentially the same town with a fishing harbour and rougher edges — and is often the better lunch destination. Honfleur, 20 minutes east, has the pretty timber-and-slate harbour painted by Boudin and Monet. Further inland, Lisieux and the cider and Calvados producers of the Pays d'Auge make for a good driving loop through orchard country.
