Honfleur's own Plage du Butin is a small sandy beach west of the harbour, fine for children — there is a playground and a shallow pool — but the view across the Seine estuary towards Le Havre's industrial zone is uninspiring. For better beaches, head southwest along the Côte Fleurie towards Trouville and Deauville.
