Old Town

Behind the harbour, a small grid of narrow streets — Rue des Bains, Rue Victor Hugo, Rue d'Aguesseau — preserves the old fishing village. Half-timbered Norman houses, small shops, and creperies line streets too narrow for two cars to pass. It's the part of Trouville that feels least like a resort.

The covered market hall and a couple of long-running small bars and bakeries are tucked here. Take a half-hour walk through these streets between visits to the beach and the seafront.
