Port of Trouville

The working harbour at the mouth of the Touques is what keeps Trouville from feeling like a stage set. Trawlers and small fishing boats tie up along the south quay; pleasure boats fill the marina on the inland side. The combination of a real fishing fleet and a yacht harbour is unusual on the Côte Fleurie.

Walk along the quayside for a half hour around mid-morning to watch the boats come in. The fish market just downstream sells the catch within an hour of landing.
