The Palais de Chaillot frames the Trocadéro terraces, one of the classic views across the Seine to the Eiffel Tower. The long curved wings were built for the 1937 Exposition and replaced the older Palais du Trocadéro.
Come for the view even if you do not go inside. The complex also houses major cultural stops, including museums, an aquarium, and the Théâtre National de Chaillot, so it can easily fill more than a passing glance.
