Rue des Rosiers

Rue des Rosiers is the best-known street of the old Jewish quarter in the Marais. It is lined with delis, bakeries, falafel counters, boutiques, and small traces of a neighbourhood whose history is older and more complicated than the lunch queues suggest.

Come on foot and fold it into a Marais wander with Place des Vosges, Musée Carnavalet, and the surrounding lanes. Saturdays are quieter because of Shabbat closures.
