A former archbishop's palace at the north end of the Place du Palais, now housing an excellent collection of medieval and early Renaissance Italian paintings — Botticelli, Carpaccio, and many lesser-known Florentine and Sienese works gathered by an Italian collector in the 19th century. Often overlooked in favour of the Palais des Papes next door, which means you can usually view it in peace.
