Kvariati is on the main coast road between Batumi and the Turkish border at Sarpi. Marshrutkas (minibuses) run frequently along this road from Batumi's central marshrutka station throughout the day. The journey takes around 20–25 minutes. Shared taxis also ply the route. From Batumi, you can also take local bus line 10, which runs along the coast road to Sarpi and stops in Kvariati.
If you are arriving from Turkey, you can cross the border at Sarpi and walk the 2–3 kilometres north to Kvariati, or pick up a marshrutka going toward Batumi.
